Day 16 – A picture of someone who inspires you
My Grandma Betty. Those that know her, know why. She is this tiny, awesome, spunky little lady. Let me put this into perspective… 11 kids… all have kids of their own… I’m pretty sure we’re up to 76 grandkids? including the great-great ones. And these kids are spread out mainly in the same area within a half hour of her, in 4 different school districts.
Why do I point this out, because she makes it a point to be at every game/match/concert/recital/graduation/whatever is going on, for all of her kids. She may only be there for a few minutes, but she chooses the route which gets the most done. I don’t know how many times I had a cross country meet, while my cousin was playing soccer in the same park, and someone else had a baseball game or whatever, she was there going back and forth across the park getting her excercise. And you could hear her cheering. After some of us graduated, and no one else was in the sport, I don’t know how many younger teammates would tell me they miss grandma Betty’s cheering. She does everything for her family, and thats why we’re all so close. (Trust Christmas is CRAZY at her tiny place) She’s pretty much amazing 🙂
