101 Things

So I realized I’ve had Metromix‘s list of “101 Things to try” up on my computer for ages! And I’ve decided, yes I missed out on a few of these things, as I believe I discovered it in April maybe? But why not try to hit them all?! At my own pace of course.

If I happen to have a blog post, I’ll link to it, but the first ones I’ve managed to do since living here, probably won’t have anything.

You missed a few:
Eat at Camp Washington Chili – best hash browns in town, and better chili than most Skyline locations.
Volunteer at the Crosstown Helpout.
Watch the Crosstown Shootout.
Christmas shopping at Carew Tower.
Eat at Pompilio’s. Bump a waitress carrying a box of toothpicks. Count the number of toothpicks on the floor.
Watch the movie “Traffic” then go walk the streets where it was filmed.
Do a pub crawl in Clifton.

You should go ride the Anderson Ferry after eating at Pompilio’s. And the Observatory is well worth the coordination it takes to plan a trip there on a clear night! I had a bad experience with Southgate House. I guess if the entertainment sucks as it did when I went, you can walk over to the Levee.
