I miss the time I lived in England, and need to get back to visit ASAP. I still talk to a lot of the Brits and Amerians alike, altho I feel we really need to get together and have another camping trip A bunch of complete strangers, thrown together, and yet the closest group of people ever.

And now that thats done (and yes I know it took more than 30 “days”) But between work and computer problems, and road trips, and my ADD I just got sidetracked ). I was going to give up on (like all those times theres like a week between posts) but I always give up on things and this shouldn’t have been that hard, and thats why you got all flippin 30… in like 3 months

Day 27 – A picture of yourself and a family member

Ok so this photo is kind of a family tradition. This is the most recent one of us tho. There’s 9.5 years between me and my youngest brother (the insanely tall one that for some odd reason we make the ‘H’ lol) And we’re pretty awesome I would do anything for these guys, and we’ve always got each others backs. That and the one on the end is now military trained to blow shit up… so I think we’re good

Mainly because in the crap ass relationships I’ve been in (not all of them were bad, I did have some great ones as well!) I didn’t think I would ever have that. Not because i was on a search for a soulmate or anything like that. I have one of those. He’s gay But… I’m a total commitmentphobe. Doesn’t make the whole idea of marriage really seem plausible ya know? But yeah, I’ve made myself step back, and really look out for myself (and was on a mission to make myself stay single for awhile) and it all just kinda fell in my lap ya know?

So thats my story and I’m stickin to it

Day 24 – A picture of something you wish you could change

 

My Hair. Straight up. End of story. Me and my sister have constant battles over how we wish we had hair like the others. Hers is so nice and straight and fine. Mine is so flippin thick. Seriously. I once cut it off and donated it and they could do twice as much as they could with a single donation.

It’s also dry and frizzy and no amount of any treatments I do will fix it. Its wavy. Not curly, not straight. Just a couple of big kinks in it that look more like i slept in a ponytail at a different spot every couple hours. It has a mind of its own. it’ll hold a do. Just not the one i want it to be.

And the color? Who knows. ask me next week. It seriuosly changes with the seasons. End of summer It’ll be bleach blond. Winter its dull and dirty blond/strawberry blond depending on what part. And it’s annoying.

Day 23 – A picture of your favorite book

So I don’t really read too many books anymore. I have a Kindle, I get free books, but i don’t really read them… But I’m going to go with this book, as when I read it years ago, I could. not. put. it. down. It was so well written and suspenseful, there was no good stopping point!

Still not sure how I feel about the movie… I may have to watch it again… Altho I did enjoy Angels and Demons as a movie, and feel I need to read the book now. Maybe that’ll be my new Kindle Book… Has anyone read that one?

Day 21 – A picture of something you wish you could forget

Ok I haven’t been purposely not updating… its just that this day is really hard! Yeah there might be some things I’d “re-do” maybe but probably not. As cliche as it sounds I’m a big believer in learning from your mistakes/adventures/mishaps/etc. Everything that has happened to me has made me who I am today… And I kinda think posting a picture of said thing would really not help me forget it and regret it I’m going to go with my second option… so deal

 

This is the old Elementary School, and pretty much anyone younger than me doesn’t remember it, as the grade after me started in the new school that was built. (And I can’t find any pics of anything but the high school, so I’m going with this as I remember it ). Do I want to forget my whole childhood? No. Some parts? Maybe. Redo some things? Who doesn’t.

 

There I’ve done my duty with this day and it can go die in a hole now
